It’s not easy being a mom. Especially if you are a career woman too. It’s a constant fight against stress when you try to balance your time between the office and at home. Though there are a lot of women who would want to clear their schedules for their children, but there are some that want to push with their careers.

Being a mom isn’t easy. It can be considered as a full hands-on task. Even though gender roles have changed, most Americans still think that women should take a big role in caring for their children. And going back to work can lead to adjustments. Even with a partner, you must divide your time when it comes to dropping your kids to school, parent-teacher meetings, and going out to watch your kids’ first baseball game.

There are 56% of women in the US, with children under 18, prefer to stay at home. It’s difficult to be a career woman and a mom at the same time. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t possible.

Having a family shouldn’t stop you from getting the career you want. If you can get the best of both worlds, then why not?

Can you attend 3 meetings in one day and still make it in time to get the kids? You might burn yourself out by the end of the day. It’s best to have attainable expectations and feel satisfied at the end of the day.

  1. Determine your priorities

Know what comes first to you. When you know you should prioritize most, is one way to organize your schedules. You cannot do everything all at once just because it is already in front of you. Identify which ones you should put on top of your priority list.

Remember, that your family is the most important thing. They always will be. As the saying goes. ‘Work to Live. Not Live to Work’.

  1. Don’t be afraid to ask for help

You are confident that you can do it. But it’s not so bad asking for help.

When your business expands, it’s time to get extra hands to help you with your schedule. Hiring assistants or building a team to help you out is a start. Your assistant or assistants can take off most of your load. It can give you time to clear your schedule and make way to spend time with your family.

The Right Way to Use a ChatBot in Your Business

Times are changing fast and computers are now part of our daily lives. For your business, you have to ensure that you are keeping up with the changes. Customer service is also changing, and it had welcomed the use of chatbots!

But what exactly is a Chatbot?

Chatbots are computer support systems that imitate human conversation with people (1). These programs are common over the internet. The chatbot is usually found in social media such as Facebook, Slack, and Instagram.

Chatbots help businesses save a lot of money. According to IBM, businesses spend $1.3 trillion on 265 billion customer service calls each year (2). AI messaging or chatbots are already changing how customer service works. In a report made by Chatbot Magazine, chatbots can save up to 30% in customer services (3).

What makes chatbots great to use? Handling many clients can be a very tedious task. The human mind can only handle 3-4 tasks at the same time (4). If we handle beyond that, the results will have more errors.

Getting excited to try out chatbots? Here are point on the right ways to use chatbots for your business!

  1. 24/7 Customer Support

As chatbots are programmed AIs, they do not need to take breaks. They can immediately give answers and recognize customer complaints (5). Your customers do not need to check whether it’s office hours or not.

  1. Providing fast access to information and content

With 24/7 service, chatbots can also provide basic information quickly. Information can range from store location, business hours, product lists, price range, product availability, and many more. Chatbots can be programmed to provide reliable answers to specific key words and sentences (6).

If you think about it, talking to chatbots are more effective than being redirected to a page full of texts.

  1. Programmed for Repetitive Work

Let’s face it. You hate it when you do the same thing for several days. If you keep on doing the same thing over and over again, you’ll eventually get bored.

Not for chatbots. Chatbots are programmed to do specific tasks with minimal errors. Softwares like Slack have bots in their programs such as helping in tasks, managing teams, and office polls (7).

  1. Processing and tracking orders

Chatbots are best used in online shopping. Online stores such as Sephora, launched their chatbot system to engage with customers (8).  People can place their orders faster, and are provided links to track their orders once it is shipped.
